Creating a public service institutional brand.
Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership is a Frederick County, MD based 501c3 charity that was started in 2014 to address the concern of a rapidly growing population of students within the Frederick County Public School system that can be considered technically homeless.
I was initially hired to create a logo, a palm card, a rack card, and numerous posters and web graphics. I provide ongoing graphic support in managing their brand and fund raising activity through social media advertised events, Facebook sponsored ads and community outreach, as well as an an annual report that is mailed out to donors.
The organization established a donor data base that they refer to as SHIPmates, and these donors proudly display a car magnet with the emblem. The initiative has grown to thousands of followers on Facebook, has served the needs of many local families in crisis. It has received public recognition from the County elected leadership and has become a prominent local charity in Frederick County, MD.
