I am painting for enjoyment and hopefully for others to enjoy. I have been building a collection of realism themes as well as abstract statements. I also have a collection of digital illustrations from my advertising agency days. The splashy style I used during that phase was very popular with clients, and many of the designs were used across the country for many years.

I have a love of gardening and flowers and have been growing a flower garden in my backyard. Often the blooms become subjects for paintings, as they carry a lot of drama and elegance that my mind sees as urgent. I am completely hooked on beauty and the interplay of sunshine and rain on the many colors in my garden, all year long.

The result is an eclectic blend of styles that all carry my casual style, handwriting and sense of drama. The realistic studies are the laboratory, the abstract realm is the playground. They are equally compelling to me.
